S2RC has partnered with Team Blue Ring Imaging (Prime), Rogue Wolf Advanced Research (Sub), and Tomahawk Robotics (Sub) on the Navy’s Multimodal Interaction Technologies to Support Small Unit Leaders Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR).
The objective is to enhance Unmanned Systems (UxS) warfighter situational awareness through developing a multimodal interface which simplifies the control of aerial and ground vehicles in expeditionary environments. The multimodal Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) which will be developed in the Phase II will serve as middleware between Tomahawk Kinesis and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) multimodal technologies including voice, gesture, 3D displays, and body pose estimation.
It will also be able to understand user behavior in degraded environments which may diminish man-machine trust and cause the warfighter to lose situational awareness, seamlessly transitioning between Primary, Alternative, Contingency, and Emergency (PACE) UxS control.
S2RC is providing Human Systems Engineering, User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) development, and Field Operations Support for this effort. S2RC aided Blue Ring Imaging with their proposal as part of our teaming agreement and sourced DoD end users to provide letters of support for the project.
Please contact S2RC if you are interested in our services and would like to add us as a team member. S2RC provides a wide range of services and as a team member can support or lead development of proposals.
