General

Role Description
S2RC is seeking a motivated Safety Technician to support safety operations, compliance audits, and training delivery across client sites in defense, construction, and general industry sectors. The Safety Technician will work under the guidance of senior safety personnel and contribute to proactive risk management, safety inspections, and field-level safety assurance.
This role is ideal for candidates with foundational safety knowledge and a desire to grow in the field of safety compliance and operations. Candidates with an OSHA 30-Hour certification are preferred; however, candidates without this credential will receive employer-sponsored training to achieve certification within 5 days of onboarding.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Field Safety Support: Assist with onsite safety assessments, hazard identification, and compliance walkthroughs.
  • Training Coordination: Support the delivery and tracking of site-specific safety training, toolbox talks, and refresher sessions.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and corrective actions in accordance with OSHA and client protocols.
  • Incident Support: Participate in the investigation of near-misses and incidents, assisting in data collection and reporting.
  • PPE Compliance: Monitor the correct usage of personal protective equipment and ensure field teams adhere to safety policies.
  • Safety Equipment Checks: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance logs for safety and emergency equipment (e.g., extinguishers, eyewash stations).
  • Regulatory Alignment: Assist in ensuring site operations are compliant with OSHA, state, and federal safety standards.
 
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926 standards.
  • Strong communication and observational skills; capable of engaging with field staff and supervisors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and digital reporting tools.
  • Ability to travel, including out-of-state assignments, with GSA-calculated per diem.
  • Ability to move into tight spaces and lift 45 pounds.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of field safety experience in construction, defense, or general industry environments.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction or General Industry certification preferred; candidates without certification must complete OSHA 30 training within 5 business days of start (training provided by S2RC

Role Description

S2RC is seeking a Social Media & Content Marketing Intern for the Spring 2026 semester to support the Director of Marketing with hands-on content creation and channel execution. The goal of this role is to boost S2RC’s social media presence and help drive lead capture through consistent, high-quality content, primarily for our commercial safety services with occasional support for defense-related content.

You will help create, edit, and publish content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, plus support select website blog posts. This is an internship and you will receive clear direction, examples, and ongoing feedback with the goal of building strong real-world skills and a portfolio you can be proud of.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Short-Form Content and Social Execution

    • Create short-form video content (Reels and Shorts) to support consistent weekly posting.

    • Repurpose long-form videos, interviews, and internal materials into short clips for social.

    • Write platform-ready copy for posts, captions, and video descriptions.

    • Assist with scheduling and publishing across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Long-Form Video Support

    • Support creation and editing of longer videos for YouTube and the website as needed.

    • Help outline topics, create basic scripts, and assist with video descriptions and titles.

  • Content Capture and Production Support

    • Capture basic photo and video content in-office and at events when available.

    • Help plan shot lists and repeatable content formats for faster content production.

  • Performance Tracking and Improvement

    • Track basic performance metrics and share simple weekly takeaways.

    • Help identify what content is driving engagement and inquiries and recommend adjustments.

  • Website Blog Support

    • Draft or support blog posts (outlines, first drafts, light edits) based on planned topics and existing materials).

Requirements
  • Enrolled for Spring 2026 in Marketing, Communications, Business, Multimedia, or related field.

  • Strong writing and proofreading skills with a professional tone.

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

  • Experience with at least one video editing tool (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar).

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

  • Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Able to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.

Job Description: The Business Development Intern will play a critical role in supporting S2RC’s growth initiatives by engaging in a broad range of business development activities. Responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and executing strategies that align with the company’s objectives in the defense sector, with a particular focus on identifying and prioritizing high-impact opportunities that match S2RC’s mission and technical capabilities. The intern will assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients, government agencies, and defense industry stakeholders, serving as a support point of contact for new business inquiries and helping to drive client engagement.

The role also involves conducting in-depth market research to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and potential partnership opportunities. By analyzing market data, the intern will provide insights that inform strategic decision-making and highlight emerging trends relevant to S2RC’s market presence. Additionally, the intern will gain exposure to the proposal development process, assisting with the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, while supporting compliance with government contracting requirements.

Another key responsibility will be supporting the development and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline. This includes tracking and reporting on business development activities, progress, and key performance metrics using CRM tools. The intern will also have opportunities to represent S2RC at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events, gaining valuable exposure while building relationships and promoting S2RC’s services.

Job Description: S2RC is seeking motivated transitioning service members to join our team as Safety Specialists through the DoD SkillBridge Program. This role provides hands-on experience in safety program development, training delivery, and compliance management, with a focus on defense and industrial environments. The Safety Specialist will support S2RC’s Safety Services practice, working alongside senior safety engineers, trainers, and program managers to enhance workplace safety and deliver advanced training solutions to government and industry clients.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Program Support: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs aligned with OSHA, DoD, and industry standards.
  • Training Delivery: Support the design and delivery of safety training, including immersive AR/VR-based modules for high-risk environments (e.g., arc flash, confined spaces, fall protection).
  • Compliance Monitoring: Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and client-specific requirements.
  • Incident Analysis: Support root cause analysis and after-action reviews for workplace incidents, helping to develop corrective action plans.
  • Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to provide safety briefings, training support, and technical assistance.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare safety reports, maintain training records, and track compliance metrics using S2RC’s safety management systems.

Anthony Lavazza

VP, Operations

Anthony Lavazza serves as Vice President of Operations at S2RC, bringing over 20 years of expertise in military safety, federal regulatory compliance, and industrial training. He leads S2RC’s operational strategy for its growing Industrial Solutions division, overseeing the delivery of risk-mitigating safety programs, deployment of digital training platforms, and implementation of compliance systems across critical infrastructure and manufacturing environments.

Before joining S2RC, Anthony founded National Safety Group, where he directed high-impact safety engagements for semiconductor and infrastructure clients. His public sector experience includes serving as a Compliance Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor (OSHA), where he was responsible for the enforcement of federal safety regulations across construction, energy, and logistics sectors.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Anthony served more than a decade as a Ground Safety Manager and Bulk Fuel Specialist. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and OSHA Outreach Instructor. His academic background includes a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Arizona State University.

Anthony’s appointment reinforces S2RC’s commitment to modernizing workplace safety systems through AI-enabled training platforms and ergonomic human-machine interface development. His leadership supports safer, smarter, and more efficient industrial operations across the logistics, manufacturing, and infrastructure domains

Rick Stone

CEO & Founder, S2RC

Rick Stone leads S2RC with over 22 years of experience across government, military, and aerospace sectors. A proven executive and human systems engineer, Rick shapes S2RC’s strategic vision, fosters leadership and team building, and drives innovation and growth.

In addition to his role at S2RC, Rick continues to serve as an Air Force Special Warfare Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC). He has also held leadership roles as Vice President of Strategic Planning at Black Diamond Advanced Technology and Director of Business Development at Pison Technologies. Beyond these responsibilities, Rick sits on the boards of several startups, providing strategic guidance and leveraging his extensive operational experience.

Rick holds a Master of Science in Human Systems Engineering from Arizona State University, a BA in Psychology from American Military University, and an associate degree in information technology from the Community College of the Air Force. He maintains a TS/SCI Clearance, FAA Part 107 License, SAFe Agilist Certification, and is a native Spanish speaker. Reflecting his passion for service and community impact, Rick supports veterans’ and children’s charities.
