Safety in Construction

Anthony Lavazza, VP of Operations, S2RC

Tuesday, December 9, 2025 | 9:30–10:30 a.m.

Room 153

Construction is still one of the most dangerous industries, but the fundamentals of safety haven’t changed. This session focuses on how leaders and supervisors can strengthen safety performance today—by tackling common hazards, reinforcing real safety culture, and tightening communication and accountability on the jobsite.

From Tech Hype to Safe Hands: Designing AI That Works in the Real World

Rick Stone, CEO, S2RC

Wednesday, December 10, 2025 | 9:30–10:30 a.m.

Room 153

AI is arriving on the jobsite, but many tools are built for clean offices, not noisy, fast-moving field conditions. This session shows how Human-Centered Design can make AI safer and more reliable for workers—focusing on usability, trust, and real-world constraints so technology actually supports crews instead of getting in their way.
