S2RC Joins DoD SkillBridge Program to Support Transitioning Service Members

S2RC is proud to announce its partnership with the Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge Program, furthering its commitment to supporting U.S. military service members as they transition into civilian careers.

The DOD SkillBridge Program connects service members in their final 180 days of active duty with industry partners for valuable hands-on experience and training in the civilian workforce. As an approved SkillBridge industry partner, S2RC will offer a range of internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training opportunities across its key service areas, including human systems research, engineering, and defense integration services.

Unlocking New Opportunities for Service Members

Through the DOD SkillBridge Program, transitioning service members will have the chance to work and learn alongside S2RC’s team of experts, gaining exposure to cutting-edge projects and real-world challenges. Participants will continue to receive their military compensation and benefits while engaging in full-time civilian work experience with S2RC, positioning them for a successful career transition.

Supporting the Transition from Military to Civilian Careers

For installation and unit commanders, the SkillBridge Program offers a structured pathway to bridge the gap between the end of military service and the beginning of civilian employment. S2RC’s participation as a trusted industry partner provides commanders the confidence to recommend the program to eligible service members, helping ease the transition period with high-quality training and career opportunities.

About DOD SkillBridge

The DOD SkillBridge Program offers service members up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training with approved industry partners. With authorization from their chain of command, participants gain in-demand work experience and have the chance to demonstrate their suitability for future employment. For industry partners like S2RC, the program provides access to a motivated and disciplined talent pool, helping to meet workforce needs at no additional cost.
