Brand Guidelines Tool-Kit

Welcome to the S2RC Brand Experience

Welcome to S2RC’s brand playground — where field-ready expertise meets tomorrow’s tech.

You landed here because you care how S2RC appears, speaks, and delivers (and yes, you should). This is your go-to for logos, colors, tone, templates, and more — everything that makes us unmistakably S2RC.

Whether you’re building a mission brief, a proposal, a training module, or refining a UX design — this guide keeps us aligned, authentic, and a little ahead of the pack.

Let’s stay bold. Stay clear. Stay mission-ready.

Who We Are & Why We Exist

At S2RC, we don’t just build solutions — we link tactics, technology, and human systems so the end user wins. S2RC

From Defense to Industrial applications, from field training to engineering systems — S2RC shows up where complexity meets consequence.

Our Promise:

  • Get systems right.

  • Build with purpose.

  • Deliver to the end user who needs it most.

Mission

We integrate tactics, techniques, procedures with technology — making solutions usable and impactful in real-world operations.

Vision

To be the go-to partner where mission-critical human-systems engineering meets operational execution at scale.

Core Values

Human-Centric Design, Operational Integrity, Technical Innovation, Collaborative Partnership.

Brand Personality & Tone

S2RC’s voice is direct, capable, thoughtful — like the seasoned operator who’s also the engineer.

Write as if you’re telling the team in the field: clear, actionable, and no fluff.

Tone Attributes:

  • Commanding but relatable – We speak with authority, not arrogance.

  • Precise but human – Technical clarity meets real-world empathy.

  • Innovative but grounded – We push boundaries, but user needs always win.

  • Collaborative but decisive – We partner, we plan, we act.

Logo System

The S2RC logo is more than a mark — it’s our operational identifier. It’s the visual handshake that says:

“These are the people who build systems that work in the real world.”

Every time our logo appears, it represents trust, precision, and mission readiness. Whether it’s stamped on a report, a prototype case, or the side of a ruggedized trailer, it should always look the same: sharp, confident, and uncluttered.

This is the master mark — the one you’ll use 90% of the time.

When to use it:

  • Company communications (letters, proposals, white papers)
  • Marketing materials (presentations, videos, brochures)
  • Website and digital assets

Composition:

  • The full “S2RC” logotype paired with the distinctive structural-link icon.
  • The relationship between the icon and the wordmark must never be altered.

Color Options:

  • Preferred: Full color (S2RC Blue + Mission Gray) on white or neutral backgrounds.
  • Alternate: White logo on dark backgrounds for contrast and readability.

Intent:

  • This logo represents the totality of who we are — human systems + engineering + operational capability.
  • Think of it as our mission patch — worn proudly and always in regulation condition.

Sometimes, the full logo can’t fit the space — or needs to adapt to a new environment. These variations exist to keep flexibility without compromising integrity.

Icon-Only Mark:

  • Use the standalone “link” or “system node” symbol for compact applications (social media avatars, small-scale merch, equipment labeling).
  • Only when the S2RC name appears nearby (on the same surface or digital frame).

Stacked or Horizontal Versions:

  • For narrow vertical spaces (e.g., mobile layouts, vertical banners).
  • For extremely horizontal environments (e.g., website headers, footer strips).

One-Color Versions:

  • Use only in contexts that demand it (embroidery, laser etching, monochrome printing).
  • Choose either all-black or all-white — never random colors.

Pro tip: When in doubt, choose legibility over style. The logo should always be instantly readable, even from a moving vehicle or a low-light projector.

A little breathing room goes a long way. Our logo performs best when it’s not gasping for air.

Clear Space Rule:

  • Leave a buffer equal to the height of the “S” in S2RC on all sides.

  • No other graphic, text, or design element may enter that space.

Minimum Size:

  • Print: Never smaller than 1 inch (25 mm) in width.

  • Digital: Never below 150 pixels wide.

  • Below these thresholds, readability and impact are compromised.

Why it matters: Our logo is like a precision instrument — it functions best when calibrated properly. Overcrowding and shrinking cause brand failure.

We get it — creativity is great. But when it comes to our logo, “creative liberties” can turn into “visual chaos.”

Here’s what not to do (and yes, we’ve seen all of these happen):

Don't Example Description Why It's a Problem

Stretch it

Elongating or squashing the logo to fit a layout.
Distorts the proportions — our logo starts looking like it went through field stress testing.

Add shadows or gradients

Drop shadows, bevels, outer glows, or color fades.
S2RC doesn’t need visual gimmicks — we stand on clarity.

Change the colors

Using off-brand hues or rainbow versions.
Breaks brand consistency and dilutes recognition.

Please don’t stretch our logo like taffy. Don’t slant it for style. And if you ever feel tempted to add a glow, take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard.

To keep consistency across every medium:

  • .SVG / .EPS: For print and vector needs — infinitely scalable.

  • .PNG: For web and digital uses with transparent backgrounds.

  • .JPG: For quick previews (not recommended for production).

  • .PDF: For vendor-ready documents.

Naming Convention Example:

  • S2RC_PrimaryLogo_FullColor_RGB.svg
  • S2RC_Icon_White_PNG.png

This helps everyone — from your designer to your machinist — use the right version the first time.

Color

S2RC Red is our primary brand color. It represents the  distinctiveness of our brand and stands out from more traditional entertainment palettes. Black is our secondary color and is used over red. Dynamic Gradient is used to create depth and bring a cinematic quality to designs.
