This September, S2RC had the opportunity to co-sponsor the Greater Phoenix Chamber’s 2025 Policy Trip to Washington, D.C., alongside Google. The multi-day engagement brought Arizona business, civic, and academic leaders to the nation’s capital for direct dialogue with federal agencies and members of Congress.
The delegation’s itinerary included meetings with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the White House, and multiple members of Arizona’s bipartisan congressional delegation. S2RC met with Senator Mark Kelly, Congressman Abraham Hamadeh, Congressman David Schweikert, and Congressman Andy Biggs.
While participants brought a range of priorities, S2RC focused its contributions on advancing federal conversations around artificial intelligence, workforce modernization, and small business access to government contracting.
This marks S2RC’s first engagement with the Greater Phoenix Chamber.
“As a veteran-owned business, S2RC was proud to represent the defense innovation community in D.C. We’re grateful to the Greater Phoenix Chamber for elevating Arizona’s small business voice in national policy conversations,” said Rick Stone, Founder and CEO of S2RC.
This engagement supports S2RC’s broader strategy to reduce procurement barriers, champion dual-use technology, and ensure that practical, deployable capabilities developed by small businesses are considered in shaping national policy.
